Powder coating a wheel has several steps, but first, what is powder coating? Powder coating is a dry spray process unlike traditional paint which can leave streaks.

Firstly we take your wheels and strip them back to bare metal using a Chemical Dipping process. The wheel is then meticulously cleaned to ensure no contamination or grime is left on the surface.

Using an industrial oven, the wheel is then heated in preparation for the powder coating. Then using a special powder coating spray gun, the wheel is fully covered in the desired colour before being returned back to the oven. The high temperature will then turn the powder in to an even liquid like finish over the entire surface of the wheel.

Then to finish the process off the powder coat is locked in with a lacquer and has one final heat treatment in the oven.
